We make a special effort to accommodate your needs and generally can see you the same day that you call. Knowing that your time is valuable, we always strive to see you at your scheduled time.
Our staff is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. to answer any questions you may have. For urgent or emergency calls after regular office hours, our physicians are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling our office phone number (937) 866-0741. Ask about an email invitation to log onto our Patient Portal. You can view your health record, exchange secure messages with our providers, and request and manage appointments.
Dr. Ashcraft is from the Akron, Ohio area. He graduated from Kent State University and the Northeastern Ohio Universities' College of Medicine. He joined Mound Family Practice in 1987 after completing the family practice residency program at Akron General Medical Center, Akron, Ohio, where he was Chief Resident. He is a board-certified family physician.
After completion of medical school, Dr. Heidari completed her internship in Fort Wayne, Indiana (Fort Wayne Medical Education Program – Family Medicine Residency) and her family practice residency in Cincinnati, Ohio (Bethesda Family Practice Residency Program). Dr. Heidari is board certified in family medicine. She has been practicing at Mound Family Practice since 2001.
Dr. Dodson is also an Ohio native. He is a graduate of General Motors Institute and the Ohio State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency program at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio, and has spent his entire medical career at Mound Family Practice. He is also board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians.
Dr. Hampton-Montavon completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, and is a graduate of the Philidelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteophatic Medicine, where she was Chief Resident. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy.
Our NP-C, Bobbi Watson, will be available daily to see our patients who may need an immediate appointment for an illness. She will be able to evaluate, diagnose and treat our patients in conjunction with our Physicians in a collaborative relationship. Additionally, Bobbi can prescribe medications and follow the Physician's plan of care for our patients. Bobbi is an extension of the Physician and will play an integral role in enhancing the quality of care offered by our practice. Please welcome Bobbi Watson, NP-C to our practice.
Bobbi received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Midwestern State University in Texas. She completed her Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Practice. Bobbi is a member of the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society and American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Bobbi is a huge Red’s fan, and delights in going to the games. She also enjoys kayaking with her husband in her free time.
We ask that you bring ALL medications (in their containers) that you are currently taking with you to your appointment. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment if you have not completed the online forms and brought them with you.
Please bring your insurance card(s) and a picture identification (driver's license, etc.) with you to your appointment.

Fees are determined by the severity of the condition presented, the length of time of the appointment, and procedures done. A full fee schedule is available upon request.All co-pay, deductibles, and any outstanding balances are due on arrival for your visit with the doctor. Payment is due at the time of the visit for any uninsured services. There is a $25 service fee for any co-pay or uninsured services not paid at the time of service. We are happy to assist you with payment arrangements in advance of your appointment should that be necessary.
We will file all primary and secondary insurance claims for you. We presently are providers for all major insurance companies such as Medicare, Anthem and United Healthcare and for a large number of other insurance companies. Please contact your insurance company to verify our physician's participation in your insurance plan as we may not be listed in your handbook.
Should a problem arise in processing your insurance claim, our knowledgeable staff will be happy to assist you; however, for many policies, claim follow-up may require information directly from the policy holder. We can supply most information needed to collect the proper payment.
Please allow 24 hours for your refill request to be completed.
All phone requests for medication will be evaluated by your physician on an individual basis. Please know that we cannot, however, diagnose over the phone; thus it is not always in the best interest of your health for the physician to call in a prescription without an examination.
We can also electronically send your prescriptions to most mail away and neighborhood pharmacies.
Be sure to give us your pharmacy preference with your refill request.
Our physicians are available after hours for urgent problems by calling our office at 937.866.0741. If you have any concern as to the severity of an emergency, call 911 immediately and paramedics can take you to the emergency room.
Please address routine matters during office hours. Our administrative staff will be happy to assist you with scheduling appointments, test results, and prescription refill requests and billing/insurance questions Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
